Sample data and estimates

Figures labeled Sample data are illustrative placeholders. The calculators and the county pages model typical ranges from sample assumptions. They are not predictions, quotes or findings about any person or case.

State law summaries

Statutes, penalties and license-hearing windows are read from state codes and official agency pages, and each state’s page lists the statute and its words. They have not been reviewed by an attorney, and may be out of date, incomplete or wrong. They are not a substitute for the statute or for the state agency’s own guidance.

Arrests are not convictions

An arrest is an accusation, not a finding of guilt. Arrest counts describe enforcement activity and the records that are available. They do not measure how much impaired driving occurs, because where and when arrests happen also reflects where people drive and where police patrol.

Sources and accuracy

Real figures name their source, period and date, and carry the source’s limitations. Some figures are transcribed or processed by us, sometimes with AI assistance, and errors are possible. Where a copy has not been checked against the original, the chart says so.

Safety

The BAC estimator is a rough model, and real blood alcohol content varies widely between people. It must never be used to decide whether to drive. The only safe amount of alcohol before driving is none.

No affiliation

duiarrested.com is not affiliated with any court, law enforcement agency, government body, law firm, bail agent or insurer, and nothing on it is an endorsement of any of them.

Use at your own risk

The site is provided as described in the Terms of Service. Anyone who relies on its figures does so at their own risk.
