Calculators

DUI calculators

Five calculators that show how the site's figures and state law figures can be used by newsrooms, service providers and analysts. Several run on sample data until real county data is published. They illustrate typical ranges and say nothing about any individual case.

Statutory windows run from 6 to 90 days

Using a calculator on another site

The DUI Total Cost, Processing-Time and Bail estimators can be embedded for free, in light or dark and at any width, and can open on your state or county. Each keeps its notice (illustrative ranges from sample assumptions, not quotes, not legal advice) and a link back to this site, and cannot carry another name or logo. The DUI BAC Estimator and the DUI License-Hearing Window are not available to embed.

The calculators use the law figures on the state pages and sample estimates for the pilot county pages, which each state's page lists. Results are illustrative ranges, not predictions, and not legal advice. See the Disclaimer.
